Our mission and values

We hope our website gives you a real sense of the atmosphere at Dixons Silver Springs Primary, as well as clear, helpful information about school life, events and policies. It’s also a space for our children to celebrate and keep up to date with what’s happening in their classes.

From the early years through to transition to secondary school, we provide rich, memorable experiences that spark curiosity, build confidence and inspire a lifelong love of learning. Our aim is to help every child achieve their potential and become a positive, active citizen within their community.

We believe learning should be joyful, challenging and inclusive. We combine high expectations with a broad, enriched curriculum that encourages creativity, problem-solving and personal growth. English and mathematics sit at the heart of our curriculum, supported by purposeful use of technology and opportunities to explore the natural world and understand our impact on it.

By providing a safe, supportive environment where children are encouraged to take risks, learn from mistakes and grow in confidence, we help them develop both character and resilience.
